3DME was protected (quite successfully) using a rather unique protection scheme I devised.
I spent a few weeks letting the idea 'simmer' and then, in a single evening, I
implemented it into the software (as well as created the server-side key genertaion
code.) It's one of my prouder achieviements. Because of this, the keygens that were
released were flawed. I've decided to release the document I wrote quite a long time
ago that describes this technique. I've since re-read the document and there are a
number of things I could change/improve upon its description of the solution, but
I'll probably never get around to updating this. So here it is, in all of its
could-be-better glory:

is limited to those that provide payment in the form of credit to the atuthor (Paul Nettle) by name.
