Changed my views on Restaurants forever What a magnificent read. There are chapters that don’t quite fit in (imo) like the Tokyo chapter. And sometimes there are segments where he rants more than he should to get a point across (a point which he already makes early on in the rant).. But those are minor complaints. READ THIS FREAKIN’ BOOK!

Broke the mold Why it took so long; i dont know. As chefs were gaining popularity and the food networks were becoming a mainstay, Anthony told the truth about what goes down in most restaurants. He burst onto the scene like the stones did in music. Tales of sex, drugs and sweetbreads. Possibly a cautionary tale as well.
