Contacting the support staff does not mean that you'll be placing your email into a
large queue with hopes of getting a response within the next few weeks.
On the contrary, your email will be sent directly to the developer of 3D Mail Effects.
Because of this, we ask that you please consult the 3DME help and the questions
below before sending your questions to this poor, overworked shell of human existence.
Q: Does 3DME support WindowsXP?
A: Yes. 3DME supports Windows95, Windows98, WindowsNT (4.0 and up)
WindowsME, Windows2000 and WindowsXP. 3DME does not support older versions (such as
Windows 3.x or WindowsNT 3.x.)
Q: Will 3DME work through my proxy?
A: Yes. The latest version of 3DME (5.2.x) has complete proxy support.
Q: Does 3DME work with Exchange, Outlook, Eudora, etc.?
A: Yes. 3DME doesn't actually need to "work with" these programs, because it works
separately from them. This is one of the advantages of 3DME -- you can check your
mail without these programs constantly running. You can also configure 3DME to start
these programs automatically.
Q: How do I set or change my default mail client?
A: Your default mail client is set by Windows' Internet Options. To check or change
this setting, click the Start menu, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Internet. On the Programs tab, in the E-mail list, select the program
you want to be the default email client.
Q: Is it possible to have only the 3D object appear with new mails, and not the email list?
A: Yes. In the 3DME popup menu, open up the Toggles submenu. Make sure "Disable all
application popups" has a check-mark next to it and "Disable all 3D popups" does
not have a checkmark.
